Emery County is a county found in the state of Utah. The current county seat is Castle Dale. Back in 2021, Emery County had a total population of 9,967.

It was created in 1880.

It was named for George W. Emery, the Utah Territory governor whose term was ending as the act was being debated.

Then again, to obtain a record copy, residents must also pay a fee. As an example, birth certificates in Emery County cost $20. First copies of death records cost $16. Marriage certificates in Emery County will set a person back $18.
