Inmates are not permitted to receive more than 5 books at a time, and the books must be sent directly from the publisher or a bookstore. The books must be new, 8 1/2 X 11 inches or smaller, a paperback, and not thicker than 2 inches. Additionally, inmates must not have more than 10 photographs, and only one newspaper is permitted per inmate. The publisher must send the newspaper.
