It was created in 1852.
It was named reportedly derived from a Native American word meaning thirsty valley, or possibly only valley.
Juab County is part of the Provo–Orem, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Salt Lake City–Provo–Orem, Utah Combined Statistical Area.

Juab County Criminal Records
Juab County records their criminal activity in the form of criminal records. These records cover murders, rapes, burglaries, arson, motor vehicle theft, assaults, and crimes of a sexual nature. All records of criminals in Juab County are updated. Citizens of Juab County can use a search tool in order to get access to the records in question. NOTE - There are various rules that must be followed for Juab County requesters to obtain records. The office is open between 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. MST from Monday to Thursday. Those looking to request records must also bring some form of photo identification. State IDs and driver's licenses will do just fine. In Juab County, a requester must also put their public record requests in writing.
