The 5-year trend showed that rates of rape, aggravated assault, and larceny-theft grew by 100.0%, 37.7%, and 20.4% respectively in 2018. In contrast, murder (50.0%), robbery (17.4%), burglary (39.4%), motor vehicle theft (30.0%), and arson (58.3%) rates all declined.

Tooele County Sheriff’s Office manages the Tooele County Detention Center. Visiting a Tooele County jail inmate may be achieved by either a remote visit or an on-site visit.
